Butler & O’Donovan win Startrek Night Nav
On a clear and dry evening on the lanes around Inchegeelagh, it would be the incredibly experienced pair of Derek Butler and Denis O’Donovan who would claim victory on the Cork Motor Club Startrek Night Navigation trial.
Based out of the Community Hall in the heart of the town, 15 crews headed off into the night excited to take on a challenging but rewarding route laid out by COC Aaron O’Regan and his deputy Nial Murphy.
For the winning pair, a tally of 5 Penalties would see them claim the win from Shane Dalton & Ryan Treanor who would end the night with 12 penalties, just two lower than third placed crew and Semi-Expert winners Gar Collins & Patrick O’Sullivan.
