Entries Open for 2026 1000 Shakes Night Nav

Cork Motor Club are delighted to announce that Entries for the 2026 1000 Shakes Night Nav on January 24/25th are now open.

A round of the Motorsport Ireland Night Navigation Championship, and the Munster Night Navigation Championship, the Inchigeelagh based event promises a technical but car friendly 118-mile route, with 112 of those miles being on tarmac.

Event COC Nial Murphy returns for one final event, with news of his retirement two years ago greatly exaggerated! Describing the event, he was stated that no new territory will be used, but some new lanes and some areas not used for c. 15 years. The navigation is straightforward with Map references & Tulips only, no traces or herringbones etc. in use on the night.

As with the recent CMC Navigation events, we are excited to welcome a class for Endurance Cars & Crews to come out and experience the event. The route & Navigation is very suitable for Endurance Cars/Crews, there is a Special 1400cc award on the night and the complete event route has been tested in an Endurance Starlet.

The Event Regs can be found here in the coming days.

Entries for the event are now open at the following link;

Enter Now!

We would ask all those who enter to complete the Entry Form element of the Regs and bring it with them on the night of the event, it will help speed up documentation. The entry form is linked below;
