Collins & O’Regan win 2022 1000 Shakes

Limericks Gareth Collins with CMC member Aaron O’Regan in the navigators seat, secured his maiden victory on last night’s 1000 Shakes Navigation Trial in the Ballyhoura area.

They finished the night on 10 penalties. Runners up, also on 10 penalties, were the Mallow/Drinagh pairing of Derek Butler and Denis O’Donavan and they also claimed the expert class victory.

3rd overall and 2nd expert were the all Limerick crew of Mike O’Connor Jnr and CMC Member Greg Shinnors.

Well done to COC Ken Carmody and all his crew on a great nights sport. Big thanks to Chief Marshals Sean and Kiera Daly, and to the marshals who turned out in great numbers on the night.
